This tour explores the areas around the Sirwa and Sahro massifs, fascinating areas to the south of the more popular Toubkal region. They are areas of extinct volcanoes, spectacular gorges, green oases and barren, desert plateaux. It is a landscape of typical Berber villages, mud-brick Kasbahs, palm trees, almond groves, small fields and rose hedges. A real land of contrasts.
This trip is for 8 days from Marrakech and back to Marrakech and you will have option to extend your holiday in Morocco Desert as long as you want.

Day 2: Marrakech - Col Tichka - Telouat - Anemiter - Ouarzazate 200 kms.
Day 3: Ouarzazate - Skoura - Kelaa de Mgouna – Valley of the Roses - Gorges Dades 160 kms
Day 4: Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Tinghir - Tagdilte 180 kms
Day 5: Tagdilte – Saghro Massif to Dunes Mhamid 300 kms
Day 6: Zagora - Oasis Oulad driss - Mhamid – Chegaga Dunes- Irriki - Foum Zeguide - Tazenakht 430 kms
Day 7: Taliouine - Sirwa - Aoulouz - Col Test (2100 m) - return to Marrakech

What you need to bring ?
Micropur tablets are needed to treat water.
For the toilet, you need wipes because you will not find a lot of water on your way and the one carried by the camel drivers only squeeze to drink and cook.
Don't forget the very useful headlamp after dark.
Strong protection sunglasses (minimum index 3)
A cheiche (or cap or hat)
Dried cakes or cereal bars in case of cravings
Eye drops, in case a grain of sand would spoil your stay
For trekking pants or capri pants and breathable T-shirt.
Good hiking shoes
A fleece for the evening
A personal pharmacy with treatment for the turista
Day sack/backpack
Head torch / headlamp
a broad spectrum antibiotic
